Like hunter said, you gonna want to use acolytes after the troops are all dead.
I sometimes move the middle cata 2 spaces to the side and throw in 3 silver acolyte squads instead of 4 spiders. Middle cata will still damage the middle wall troop. Read, Read, Read!
